Privacy policy
In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from other servers.
1. Controller
Maximilian Maskus, trading as Astronovilux Group (sole proprietorship), Leopoldstraße 2–8, Mailbox: Block G, No. 415, 32051 Herford, Germany. E-mail: admin@astronoviluxgroup.com
2. What this website does itself
The website consists of static pages. It sets no cookies and embeds no analytics, advertising or social media services. Fonts, images and scripts load from our own server. If you pause or play the animations, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage; it never leaves your device. The TrendBrain examples use fixed, synthetic data.
3. Hosting and server logs
The website is delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, browser and operating system details, and the referring page. This serves the delivery, stability and security of the website, for example defending against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure and reliable website. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and processes the data as a processor under its Data Processing Addendum.
Cloudflare may ask your browser to report failed connections to our website (Network Error Logging). These reports contain technical data such as the requested address, the type of error and the IP address, and are processed by Cloudflare to keep the website reachable. The legal basis is again Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
4. Contact form
If you use our contact form, we process the name, e-mail address, topic and message you enter in order to answer your inquiry. The form is sent through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA; EU-US Data Privacy Framework; Cloudflare Email Service as our processor) as an e-mail to our mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). Submissions are not stored in a database and are not used for advertising. To protect the form against abuse, we use a hidden field and limit the number of messages per IP address; the IP address is used only for that check and is not stored by us.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your inquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering inquiries. We delete your inquiry once it is settled, unless statutory retention periods apply.
5. Contact by e-mail
If you write to us, we process your e-mail address and what your message contains in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for inquiries about an order, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our e-mail runs on Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We delete inquiries once they are settled and no legal retention duties remain.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) An e-mail to us is enough.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you can object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We then stop processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one responsible for us: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
